Once finished exploring Dubai and the UAE, there are several exciting neighbouring destinations all displaying the rich, colourful cultural heritage that the Middle East is readily known for.
Bahrain, Oman and Qatar are all within a short flight distance and individually offer much to the tourist. For the sporting enthusiast Bahrain hosts the Bahrain Grand Prix each March while Qatar hosts the Qatar Masters Golf Tournament.
Further a field, but still within a four hour flight from Dubai are destinations such as Egypt, Cyprus, Maldives, India. These are ideal for a quick weekend get away or for shorter breaks time permitting. There are many public holidays and long weekends associated with Eid Celebrations/ Christmas etc in Dubai allowing several opportunities to take short breaks during the year.
Breaks can of course be booked through many of the travel agents in Dubai or direct with the airline and hotel of choice. Check both to obtain the best deal. At certain times of year good value deals are on offer, usually advertised on the local press or online with the individual tour operators.
